OUR HISTORY

In 1996, European Floor Toppings Ltd (EFT) was formed.

This was when Neil Crighton (ex Crighton Contractors) and Steve Haddock (ex Seamless Surfaces) joined forces to become the largest team of Nuplex (now Allnex) floor applicators in New Zealand, specialising in resin industrial and commercial flooring. Neil later retired from EFTL in 2010.

Due to EFTL’s size, we’re able to take on large-scale industrial and commercial projects, both here in New Zealand (from Auckland and beyond) and overseas throughout the Pacific.

In 2017, the company was joined by Paul Hearn as Contracts Manager. In 2018, Paul and his wife Victoria joined forces with Steve as full partners to form a strong management team. EFTL are committed to providing sound technical advice and great service to both new and existing clients.

OUR FUTURE

We’re committed to supporting the resin flooring industry.

To help the industry as a whole, we’ve worked hard in conjunction with BCITO to help establish resin flooring as a recognised, certifiable trade. We are pleased to announce that there is now a National Certificate in Flooring: Resin Flooring Application Level 4. This is a 33 month apprenticeship and will result in more skilled workers and a higher standard of work throughout the industry.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

European Floor Toppings have won the Allnex Top Flooring Contractor Award every year since 2001.

We’re proud to have achieved this high standard of excellence, which reflects our commitment to quality and outstanding workmanship. We have a high standard of technical knowledge, with Steve having been in the resin flooring business for nearly 30 years! Together with Allnex technical team, Steve and Paul are able to offer the right solution for every resin flooring challenge.

We have also achieved a Sitewise Green certification, which shows our strong commitment to Health & Safety.
