In 1996 Neil Crighton and Steve Haddock joined forces to become the largest team of resin flooring applicators in New Zealand, specialising in commercial and industrial resin flooring. After partnering with Steve in 2018 until 2023 when Steve retired from the business, Paul Hearn assumed the role of sole Managing Director in May 2023, assisted by a dedicated team of specialist installers led by Caleb Brown.
EFTL are able to take on large-scale industrial and commercial projects, both here in New Zealand (from Auckland and beyond) and overseas throughout the Pacific. EFTL have successfully completed resin flooring projects in Tahiti, Tonga, Rarotonga, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Niue and Papua New Guinea.

To help the industry as a whole, we’ve worked hard in conjunction with BCITO to help establish resin flooring as a recognised, certifiable trade. We are pleased to announce that there is now a National Certificate in Flooring: Resin Flooring Application Level 4. This is a 33 month apprenticeship and will result in more skilled workers and a higher standard of work throughout the industry.
